This is an ANTIQUE (1892) hardcover book called “Digging For Gold,” by Horatio Alger, Jr. Although the binding is a little rough, the book itself is still in really good condition! In the pics you can see the previous owner brown tapes the binding to keep it together. See my other pics and you’ll see it tried separating in the very front but as you can see in the middle and other areas, it’s still intact! This is possibly one of the First Editions but it’s such a rare cover to find? I am not sure 100%! The pages are in excellent condition. There are a few rips on random pages. One person who owned it wrote their name nicely on the first empty page as well. Even though there are flaws, for being published and bound in 1892, I’m very impressed! Even with the tape on the binding? Your reader friends would still see the beauty as it’s still 100% readable!
